International College Systems and Data Entry Officer
Location: University of Greenwich International College, London
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Type of Contract: Fixed Term - 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £22,000 per annum
About the role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator (systems and data entry) with a passion for education to join out College Student Services Team. We are currently advertising for a fixed-term full-time role with the possibility of it becoming permanent in the future.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records using centralised student databases, ie. Bromcom
- Liaise with central IT and Network teams to keep the MIS implementation on track and monitor current system progress.
- Assist in managing student enrolment, including Pre and Post-Arrival college instructions.
- Support the College Student Services team with day-to-day operations and procedures.
- Collaborate with lecturers and other members of staff to ensure efficient communication flow.
- Prepare and distribute reports, memos, and other documents as required.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from students and staff.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and appointments.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.

Person specification
Knowledge and Experience
- Administrative experience in educational environments and/or in a direct customer-facing role.
- Confident user of MS Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working with young people and adults from different cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to establish positive and effective relationships with members of staff and students.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to keep accurate records – attention to detail and a good level of numeracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work successfully in a team.
- Ability to work on own initiative where necessary.
- Experience with working with international students whose first language is other than English. (Desirable)
- Knowledge of student welfare support processes. (Desirable)
- Knowledge of student attendance regulations and targets / Knowledge of UKVI student visa requirements for attendance. (Desirable)
- Knowledge of School and/or University procedures. (Desirable)

Qualifications
- Level 2 qualification or equivalent to demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Level 3 qualification or higher in business/finance/administration or equivalent (Desirable)
- Certified ICT skills (Desirable)
- First-Aid trained (Desirable)

- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS clearance
