Full Time Bar Person - Dovecliff Hall Hotel
A stunning Country Hotel near Burton On Trent in Staffordshire is looking for an experienced Bar Person to work alongside their current team on the main Hotel bar which also acts as the function bar for weddings, banquets and other social functions.
To also assist in the Restaurant when required due to the nature of a small luxury hotel and multi skilled staff.
Job Objective
To effectively deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all customers with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers, plus the ability to generate sales and portray a visible and dynamic role at Dovecliff Hall.
Role Description

Main Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Serve and present beverages quickly and efficiently meeting our standards at all times
- Assist in keeping the bar and front of house areas clean and tidy to a high standard at all times
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
- Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range
- Always adhere to all company policies, procedures and licensing laws
- Be involved and contribute at all team meetings
- Carry out instructions given by the management team
- To assist with regards to placing food orders and receiving payments for respective tables
- To take accountability for all monies received
- To ensure at all times a clean working environment
- Regular monitoring of guest areas for collection of empty glasses and to maintain high standard of cleanliness throughout shift
- To carry out the opening and closing procedures of the bar areas including function bar
- Stock rotation to be carried out for every stock item without failure
- Health, hygiene and cleanliness to be maintained to a high standard at all times
As Bar Person you will increase sales and profitability of the department through upselling and being diligent with company equipment and standards.
