We are recruiting for 1 food production operatives on a temp to perm basis at Heathfield Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot. You will be joining a local company that supply their products; both fresh and frozen to a broad range of foodservice providers in the travel, leisure, casual dining and hospitality sectors.
The team produces exceptional food at high standards and they look for those same standards and level of commitment from all of their staff in whatever role they play within the business
The role of a food production is varied with duties including:
- Preparing fresh meat, vegetables, spices and flavourings as per recipe
- Batch cooking of products
- Stock rotation and management
- Weighing and preparing of ingredients
- Labelling and packaging of baked goods
- Ensuring temperatures are correctly logged and followed
Shift Rota Pattern:
- Monday to Friday, 5am – 1pm (approx.)
- £10.92ph
Essential for the role:
- A passion for food
- Able to get to site for the working hours
