We are looking for a Beautician to take care of our customers’ cosmetic needs.
Beautician responsibilities include removing hair, recommending skin care therapies and managing client appointments. You should be well-versed in beauty treatments, including hairstyling, makeup, threading, waxing, eyelash extension,facials, hair removal, manicures and pedicures. Simple Beauty & Lashes is seeking a Beauty Professional to join our team! We are looking for a talented and energetic individual who is passionate about beauty and providing great customer service.
Job Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and answer any questions about products
- Maintain the cleanliness of the salon, and the stockroom
- Stock and place products on the shelves, or on the floor, according to manufacturer’s instructions
- Assist customers in choosing colors, shampoos, or other items from our shelves
- Perform quality control inspections of products on your own
- Maintain your knowledge of new products, and educate customers on how to use them
- Perform back-of-house duties such as cleaning, organizing, and organizing the front desk area, bathrooms, stockroom, etc.
- Assist with any other tasks assigned by managers, sales managers, or supervisors.
Skills:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This is an entry level position with room for growth. You will be trained in all aspects of our brand including our color theory and cut techniques. You will also be trained in our hot oil treatment method. We are willing to train anyone who has a passion for color, has a great attitude, is reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Must have reliable transportation as well. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm. Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Part-time hours: 24-35 per week
Salary: £9.00-£10.00 per hour
